Jhum Jhum, a seasoned criminal lawyer with 25 years of experience, heads the Criminal Law Practice at the firm. Widely recognized by courts and peers, she excels in white-collar crime cases, particularly under the (Indian) Prevention of Corruption Act and Prevention of Money Laundering Act. She’s a specialist in internal investigations and whistle-blower inquiries.
Jhum Jhum adeptly handles intricate commercial disputes in courts. She represents clients in civil and criminal cases before the Supreme Court, High Courts, tribunals, and district courts across India. Notably, she offers legal support to prominent microfinance and real estate firms, ensuring statutory and regulatory compliance.
Besides being an expert litigator, she is also a certified Mediator with the Delhi High Court Mediation Centre where she regularly helps parties to resolve their disputes amicably. She also conducts Mediation workshops for clients as well as fellow lawyers.
With a background that includes in-house roles at DLF and SS Group for nearly 4 years, Jhumjhum brings a well-rounded perspective. She began her journey after graduating from Delhi University, gaining foundational experience with senior counsels and former Additional Solicitor Generals of India.
Jhum Jhum has also been associated with Delhi High Court Legal Services Authority for more than 10 years, providing pro-bono legal representation to individuals in a wide range of cases. She has received recognition for her services and commitment for providing legal assistance to vulnerable women.
