P.V. Aruna Kumari - Senior Partner
Aruna is a seasoned advocate with around 25 years of experience and expertise in real estate and infrastructure laws, corporate and commercial laws, intellectual property laws, in both contentious and non-contentious matters. Aruna has been granted the honour of being one of the women entrepreneurs selected by the ISB (Indian School of Business) for Entrepreneurship Development Programme (EDP) sponsored by Goldman Sachs. She has been a member on the panel of the Infrastructure & Real Estate Committee of FTAPCCI and Mediation and Conciliation Network (MCN). Aruna is also invited as a distinguished speaker for many events organised by various organisations including educational institutions.
Expertise
Aruna has been regularly representing leading companies, MNCs, corporates, IT and ITeS, etc., before High Court, District Courts, Labour Courts and other judicial forums. She also advises MNCs, IT giants, banking companies and manufacturing companies on matters related to general corporate and real estate on day-to-day basis. She is well versed in advising foreign clients on state specific incentives and benefits offered for establishing industrial units, data centres and manufacturing units. Aruna skilfully interacts with the government authorities to secure land for industrial units, data centres and manufacturing units.
Prior to joining Samagra Law, Aruna was heading the Hyderabad office of the law firm, Kochhar & Co., as the resident senior partner. Aruna began her journey after being admitted to the Bar Council of Andhra Pradesh in 1999 with an LL.M and MBA degrees.
